Occupational medicine specialists evaluate and treat workplace injuries and illnesses, and render opinions as to the work-relatedness of a medical condition. Services include work-related physical examinations, surveillance exams required by the OSHA/MIOSHA Department of Transportation exams, urine drug, and breath alcohol testing services, and fitness-for-duty evaluations (work restrictions).
